Camille Detree
A Marine Biologist of the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France), Dr. Detree completed her Doctorate at the Roscoff Marine Station (France) on molecular mechanisms underlying symbiosis near fumaroles in marine abysses.
Dr. Detree’s career has been devoted to researching molecular mechanisms used by marine invertebrates in their adaptations to extreme conditions and/or anthropogenic stress.
Dr. Detree is currently studying the adaptation of marine organisms at the IDEAL Research Center.

Juan Höfer
Dr. Höfer is a Biologist from the University of Oviedo, Spain, where he also completed a Master’s in Biology applied to the Sustainability of Natural Resources and a Doctorate in Biology. Furthermore, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Marine and Limnological Sciences of the Universidad Austral de Chile.
Dr. Hofer’s primary research lines dealing with plankton cover: population ecology, spacio-temporal distributions, trophic ecology, flows of matter, pelagic-benthic coupling, and the characterization of the actual role played by salps and krill in the biogeochemical carbon cycle around the western Antarctic Peninsula.
He is currently collaborating with GEOMAR to understand glacial contributions of macro- and micronutrients and their potential effects on high-latitude plankton communities.

Lisette Zenteno Devaud
Dr. Zenteno is a Marine Biologist from the Universidad Austral de Chile. She holds a PhD in Biodiversity from the Universidad de Barcelona, Spain.
Throughout her career, Dr. Zenteno has researched the influence of environmental and anthropogenic factors on the trophic ecology and biodiversity of marine species.
She has participated in a variety of projects using the stable isotope technique to investigate predator-prey relationships and the structure of trophic networks, including analyses of overlapping isotope niches and the identification of the ecological role of the species.

Fabio Bozzeda
Dr. Bozzeda has a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences and a Doctorate of Environmental Sciences from the Universidad de Boloña, Italy.
Mr. Bozzeda has supervised diverse undergraduate projects in Marine Biology and Environmental Sciences. Throughout his career, he has focused on researching new technology for secure coasts, utilizing ecosystem modeling and the consequences of extreme flooding as a tool. He has participated in the development of tools to support decision-making in marine protected areas.
At present, he is studying possible ecological, social, and economic feedback connected to the fishery and salmon industry, developing climate change scenarios and different resource management options.
